About Laura Derr

From a young age, Laura has longed for mystical revelation, but thought that experience was reserved for other, more special people. As a teen, she had a profound love for Jesus, and yearned to be able to perform physical healings, as he had done. Her childhood Christian church did not provide a home for these feelings, so she moved on to a twenty-year commitment to Buddhist practice in the Thich Nhat Hanh community in Boston. When she found A Course in Miracles, a mind-training program very similar to Buddhism, she knew this was her spiritual home. She transferred her diligent practice to ACIM, and later studied The Way of Mastery, and A Course of Love. These transformational texts were her companions on the path of steadily expanding spiritual awareness and gifts.

One of these gifts is the very ability to transmit healing that she had longed for decades ago. This healing arises spontaneously, an energy than cannot be commanded. She obtained ordination as an interfaith minister to make it clear that hands-on healing was not part of her clinical psychology practice! She is delighted, now that she has almost retired from that profession, to freely explore the true spiritual dimension of healing. It is an honor to serve her part in the collective awakening of humanity.
