Journey to the True Self leads you through each step along Laura’s spiritual path, as more and more miraculous gifts unfold. It begins with ten years of hearing the clear thought of the Holy Spirit while journalling questions and answers; she then discovers inner perception of energies in people’s bodies; then develops confidence in her inner sight that reveals profound truths about other people; then sees Yeshua (Jesus) in her inner sight and hears his thoughts. It culminates with offering her service as the Voice for Christ Consciousness in the context of an online community of friends who gather regularly for three years. Much of the book contains the teachings that emerged spontaneously during these group sessions. A pattern quickly develops of the Voice of Christ Consciousness sharing beginning and closing teachings, with time for questions from the group. The tone is suffused with Love and Joy, with profound compassion for each person’s struggles, and a gentle sense of humor. Reading the questions and answers makes it vividly clear that Yeshua is immediately present in our inner awareness, intimately involved with each of our lives, awaiting our awakening to this Reality.

The Voice begins identifying himself as Yeshua, but fairly soon evolves to explaining that he is not a separate “person;” rather, he and other enlightened Beings form a collective consciousness who are awake to their true Christed nature. Thus, this consciousness is universal, for people of all faiths or no faith background, not specific to any preconceived idea of who Yeshua might be. The teachings are jewels to be savored slowly and felt in the heart.
